‘Kick-Ass’ fans, watch out!  On February 9th 2011, Mark Millar, one of comic’s most talented and successful writers, returns with a brand new adventure ‘Nemesis’, it was announced by Titan Books yesterday. ‘Nemesis’ collects the first four issues of the comic book.

Co-Creator Steve McNiven, having topped the charts with Wolverine: Old Man Logan and Marvel’s Civil War, joins up with Millar once again for a sales-bursting, headline-grabbing reversal of our expectations of the superhero genre. ‘Nemesis’ brings writer Mark Millar and artist Steve McNiven together for their third collaboration.

After the success of major motion picture adaptations of ‘Wanted’ and ‘Kick-Ass’ , ‘Nemesis’ has already been picked up by Twentieth Century Fox before the first issue hit the stand. It’s currently in development for a film adaptation directed by renowned director Tony Scott (‘Top Gun’, ‘Man on Fire’). Scott recently described McNiven’s art on Nemesis as “among the best I’ve ever seen in comic-book form.”

What if the smartest, toughest costumed bad-ass in the world was totally evil? Meet Nemesis. He’s systematically been destroying the lives of every police chief in Asia, and he’s now set his sights on Washington, D.C. What will happen once he comes to America? You’ll have to read for yourself to find out.
