Cyborg Is Officially Coming To Young Justice: Outsiders

The third season of ‘Young Justice: Outsiders‘ is introducing us to a big hitter as Cyborg is joining this DC Universe animated series! This Friday, we’re finally going to be seeing Victor Stone make an appearance and DC has released a solid first look at him. We’ve seen him as a member of both the Teen Titans and the Justice League in the past, but Young Justice is primed to retell his origin story once again.

While that part might not be too exciting, being able to hear Zeno Robinson (‘Lego Star Wars: All Stars’,’Big City Greens’) voice the character means that we’re soon going to be in for some great action! Not only that, but Khary Payton who voices Aquaman and Black Lightning on the series will be pulling triple duty to voice Cyborg’s father Silas Stone.

It isn’t clear if Silas will end up living as previous iterations of the character have seen him die.

You can get your first look at Cyborg right here:

We’ve already heard Cyborg’s name being mentioned in last week’s “Evolution” while the following episode “Triptych’ mentioned Dr. Silas Stone who works at STAR Labs Detroit. It seemed like only a matter of time before the duo would appear in the series.

We’ll see Cyborg introduced in “Another Freak” which is the eleventh episode of the series and part of the midseason finale released on Friday, January 25th, 2019. When the show returns in June, we know that Cyborg will be part of it and it will be released just in time to have his live-action counterpart appear in ‘Doom Patrol.’

Are you looking forward to seeing Cyborg introduced in ‘Young Justice Outsiders’? Will it at all be annoying that he is introduced just in time for the animated series to take a break until June? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
