New Avengers: Endgame Promo Art Shows Hawkeye's New Ronin Look

Many fans weren’t happy when Jeremy Renner didn’t reprise his role as Clint Barton in ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ but we know that he is set to return in ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ He briefly showed up in the trailer for the film, and now Hawkeye is back as the Ronin persona in new promotional art for the upcoming movie. Fans who had a chance to read the official tie-in ‘Avengers: Infinity War Prelude’ comic did learn that like Ant-Man, Barton had gone into retirement and house arrest to deal with the fallout from ‘Captain America: Civil War.’

While it hasn’t been made clear as to why he is out and about playing superhero again, one can only imagine that his family ended up being dusted when Thanos snapped his fingers during The Decimation. That is, of course, just the popular fan theory at this time.

The promo art comes thanks to Daniel Richtman showed off the following:

While the artwork hasn’t been confirmed to being from Marvel Studios at this time, Richtman is known for leaking early details from release dates to visuals so there is a high chance that we’ll be seeing this pop up somewhere in the marketing for the film.

Personally, I’d love to know why Hawkeye has taken up a new persona to fight crime because his motivation to do so has to be a pretty strong one.
