Andy Serkis Star Wars: The Last Jedi

We know that ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘ was divisive with fans and many actors now seem to feel the same way. It is hard to tell if this is true or if he’s just teasing fans before he returns in the still unnamed ‘Star Wars: Episode IX.’ Many rumors have pegged Snoke actually to be Emporer Palpatine’s master Darth Plagueis. If this proves to be true, it is quite likely that we haven’t seen the last of Serkis’ character quite yet.

Of his character’s death, Serkis states that killing Snoke was “So cruel. He’s disposed of so early on in his career.” The actor then teased that “it’s a Star Wars movie, anything can happen. I’m saying this with the hope that someone’s listening out there.”

Now, if Snoke is Darth Plagueis, this is all a ruse on the actor’s part before he eventually returns to settle the score with Kylo Ren. We know this to be true as Emporer Palpatine once shared:

“Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith so powerful and so wise, he could use the Force to influence the midi-chlorians to create life. He had such a knowledge of the dark side; he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying… Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew. Then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.”

However, if Plagueis indeed did have mastery over life and death, it is feasible that his time walking among the living isn’t actually at an end.

Do you feel it was unfair as to how Snoke died in ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’? Will we find out that the character is Darth Plagueis and will return for at least one more film? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
