Legendary Entertainment has found a new and original show for their “Alpha” streaming service from Deborah Ann Woll called ‘Relics and Rarities’! The idea behind the show was born from Woll’s love of ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ and takes place in the sleepy town of Bellbrook. This new series has Woll as a combination of a Dungeon Master and storytelling where each episode has a cast that is racing against the clock to stop a prophecy from coming true.

However, the actions and story of each episode in this scripted series will change as their game plays out.

According to Woll:

“I’m so excited to finally announce my new show, Relics, and Rarities. We’ve assembled a stellar creative team, along with amazingly intricate set design, props, and puzzles, a hilarious and surprising cast – and an original world and campaign of my own creation. You’ll have to watch to see what tricks I have up my sleeve.”

Speaking of the cast, she has found a fellow ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ fan in ‘Daredevil’ co-star Tommy Walker who briefly played Francis on the show as well as Julia Dennis (‘Lofty Dreams’,’What Would You Do’), Jasmine Bhullar (‘Starter Kit: Vampire the Masquerade’) and Xander Jeanneret (‘King of Nerds’,’Sagas of Sundry’.)

Each episode will also include a surprise celebrity guest, and one can’t help but hope that a few iconic players such as Stephen Colbert, Chris Hardwick, Vin Diesel, Mike Myers, Patton Oswalt, Wil Wheaton, or her ex-‘True Blood’ co-star Joe Manganiello might show up!

Legendary Digital Networks SVP of Production and Programming Jason Corey also spoke about the upcoming series and shared that:

“Welcoming fans who have not yet experienced collaborative storytelling is an established mission of Geek & Sundry, and partnering with Deborah Ann Woll has been a dream come true for us. We’re thrilled to be able to elevate and broaden the platform for a female Dungeon Master and to expand the fandom for this unique and exciting genre.”
