Game Of Thrones Richard Dormer

In a world where Hollywood has to keep their films as secretive as possible these days to avoid spoilers, it seems like HBO is getting in on the action. According to Richard Dormer, who plays Beric Dondarrion on ‘Game of Thrones,’ spoilers about the final season were leaked on purpose.

In a recent interview, Dormer was talking about actors who share details about the show and then having to try and retract them:

“I suppose it’s good for the show because it gets people talking, and sometimes I suppose they even leak stuff on purpose, I don’t know.”

When pushed to reveal spoilers himself the actor laughing shared that “They’d kill me.” It sounds like HBO has taken a page out of Marvel Studios’ playbook!

While the actor does say that the added press can be good, not everyone is thrilled about it:

“It’s all good for the show, but we find it kind of annoying because we want fans to see it on screen and go ‘Oh my god, I can’t believe it. You don’t want it to be spoiled; you want it to be a piece of entertainment that is constantly keeping you on your toes.”

Most viewers really can’t argue that these days.

With possible leaked spoilers being done intentionally in mind, you have to wonder how much of what Vladimir Furdík who plays The Night King recently revealed might be true or not in the grand scheme of things. Considering that isn’t the only early news which has come out recently, it sounds like everything we learn might not be able to be taken at face value.

Either that or Dormer is playing some excellent damage control on behalf of HBO.
