With the cancelling of ‘Daredevil‘ looking to be the final nail in the coffin for Marvel TV on Netflix, we’re all pretty sure that it is just a matter of airing the next seasons of both ‘Jessica Jones’ and ‘The Punisher‘ before the partnership officially comes to an end. Not all hope is lost for fans of these shows as Marvel TV has released a statement teasing that we might see at least The Man Without Fear return in another outing. The television arm of Marvel Entertainment has promised that there will be “more adventures” of Matt Murdock coming.

Sadly, this news is vague and could be in any medium from comics to cartoon to a reboot. However, most of us are hoping that there will soon be an announcement that these street level heroes are going to end up returning on Hulu or a network such as FX which will soon officially be owned by Disney.

Chances that unless it is Hulu, we won’t hear an announcement one way or another until the buyout of Fox is finalized.

Here is what Marvel shared:

“Marvel is extremely grateful to the huge audience that loved Marvel’s Daredevil. From the moment of young Matt’s first act of heroism to the birth of Page, Murdock, & Nelson, it has been a unbelievable journey. We are incredibly proud of the amazing showrunners and writers starting with Drew Goddard and Steven DeKnight, Marco Ramirez and Doug Petrie and Erik Oleson, Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Vincent D’Onofrio and our casts who brought our characters to life with such excellence, and every one of the fantastic crews in NYC. We look forward to more adventures with the Man without Fear in the future.”

This has been such a stellar cast with solid stories being told that we can only hope Marvel will give it a chance to return. It is unclear if any of the shows could still appear on Disney+ even though it hinted that they’re not quite as family-friendly as the upcoming streaming service is hoping to be. It should also be noted that the first slate of Marvel shows which are being developed are by Marvel Studios and not Marvel TV.
