When Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was at the height of his WWE career, one of his biggest adversaries was a man called Hunter Hearst Helmsley or Triple H for short. While his function today is as the Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events, and Creative of the house that Vince McMahon built, he was such a student of professional wrestling that he was called “The Game”. So really, you could say that Rocky has some experience with games. However, when he hits start on Jake Kasdan’s ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ later this holiday season, he and fans of the original 1995 Robin Williams film are in for a very different game.

While it’s not exactly a main event match in the squared circle, Johnson’s next blockbuster is sure to be a slobberknocker. But to get a better idea of what to expect in theaters around Christmas, Sony Pictures has released a brand new featurette to take the audience behind the scenes of the next great adventure into the deadly game known as Jumanji. And not only do we get some fresh info on the cast of characters, but we also get a hint about how the game managed to live on and evolve from the board game that we came to know and love. You can check out the sneak peek below, followed by the official synopsis of the film:

In a brand new Jumanji adventure, the tables are turned as four teenagers are sucked into Jumanji’s world – pitted against rhinos, black mambas and an endless variety of jungle traps and puzzles. To survive, they’ll play as characters from the game: meek Spencer becomes a brave explorer; hulky jock Fridge becomes a tiny genius; It-girl Bethany becomes a bookworm professor; and unathletic Martha becomes an amazonian warrior. To beat the game and return to the real world with their lives, they’ll have to start seeing things in an entirely different way.
