spider-man-homecoming

With Spider-Man: Homecoming prepping to swing into theaters as Marvel Studio’s next release after ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ it’s time to start promoting it, and we’ve got two new posters that do just that. One of them shows Spidey in a very classic pose while the second has Parker just lounging around with the Avengers tower in the background.

On Twitter, the tagline for the first reads “Homework can wait. The city can’t” which clearly looks to be true in this shot of Peter Parker:

While The Avengers tower is visible in the background in the first, we can see it front and center in this one as Spidey is hanging out on the A itself!

While ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is set to launch the career of Pater Parker as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man they have no problems using the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe in these two promo shots and I don’t blame them. With Sony’s past poor decisions it seems like they want to do Parker right here.

Of course, the same thing can’t be said about their rather inferior decisions of putting ‘Venom‘ and the Blackcat and Silver Sable standalone films outside of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe which likely makes them impossible to be villains for the webhead down the line.
