For some time now, True Believers have been hearing rumblings about who will be included in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. Though it’s presumed that the majority of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes that we’ve met thus far on the big screen would be included, reports have been flying in about who is rumored to appear or not. But now, we have some official confirmations about a few people that we will be seeing in Anthony and Joe Russo’s highly anticipated Marvel Studios blockbuster. Plus, there’s also an all-new featurette online that teases some previously unannounced plot details.

As people are preparing to enjoy their Friday night, the House of Ideas took to Twitter to share the first official look at the massive upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover set for May 4, 2018. Following a recap of the Infinity Stones and their roles in the MCU thus far, this brief preview opens with Robert Downey Jr., Tom Holland, and Chris Pratt hanging out on set and confirming their long-rumored involvement in the production. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige then lays out the path that we’ve been on so far and the importance of releasing ‘Captain America: Civil War’ ahead of ‘Infinity War’ before officially revealing that the Guardians of the Galaxy will indeed team with the Avengers to take on Thanos. There’s even some badass concept art of Thor fighting alongside Rocket Raccoon. Check out all of this and more in the video below:

It’s hard to believe that we’re so close, yet so far away from one of the most massive team-ups in all of movie history. But in the meantime, I’m sure that no one will complain about getting updates here and there featuring heroes like Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Star-Lord palling around on the set. You know, much like this one released on RDJ’s personal Facebook around the same time as the featurette (click image to play):
