Super Bowl: Things Are Getting Stranger In The ‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Trailer

Netflix has decided not to trick us but give us a treat come Halloween as that’s when Season 2 of ‘Stranger Things’ will begin!

The announcement came during the series’ Super Bowl teaser:

‘Stranger Things’ is keeping with its 80s films nods and if a lot of the images seem eerily familiar, that’s because the Duffer brothers (who created the series) have stated that ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’ as well as ‘Aliens’ were inspirations for the upcoming season. I don’t know about you, but I also got a ‘Close Encounters of the Third Kind’ vibe there too.

So start stocking up on the Eggos as all 9 episodes of the second season of ‘Stranger Things’ will stream on Netflix starting Oct. 31!
