justice-league

Director Zack Snyder‘s ‘Justice League’ has wrapped filming, so the epic DC team-up movie is headed for its November 2017 opening.  To celebrate, Snyder released a behind-the- scenes gag reel which spotlights the actors involved… except Henry Cavill.  As we know, Superman died at the end of ‘Batman V Superman’ but just like in the comics, we know that is just temporary.  Even so, Cavill’s Man of Steel doesn’t show up, but we get lots of footage of the rest of the cast, including Jason Momoa as Aquaman, who shows off his trident-wielding technique… and not so much.

The movie was filmed largely in the U.K. as Snyder makes mention of in the clip.  You can check it out below:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Another interesting detail is that Ray Fisher appears strictly in a motion capture suit, so Cyborg will be rendered mostly (or nearly entirely) in CGI.

We also get a glimpse of lots of stunts being performed, largely by the actual cast.

Are you looking forward to ‘Justice League’?  Can it measure up to Marvel’s ‘Avengers’ movies?

Directed by Zack Snyder, ‘Justice League’ is set to be the flagship entry in DC’s burgeoning cinematic universe. The film features returning stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot alongside a wave of newcomers, including Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and J.K. Simmons. ‘Justice League’ will land in theaters on November 17, 2017.
