Fans of BioWare’s ‘Mass Effect’ series are going to be thrilled by their upcoming contest which will allow you a chance at voicing a character in ‘Mass Effect: Andromeda‘! The franchise has made BioWare a household name for science fiction gaming addicts as fans have been enjoying every outing since the original ‘Mass Effect’. One of the main parts that make it stand out from other games is that eavesdropping on conversations and taking part in them can give you hints at how to play the game to bonus missions being assigned. The humor and plot devices in how they use conversations are amazing and now the studio is allowing the fans to literally take part in it.

While BioWare clearly stated that they “cannot guarantee that winner’s recorded voice will actually appear in the commercial release of a game, in which game it may appear, or if in a game, where in the game the recorded voice will be heard,” chances are if you win it’ll be in there. Even if it doesn’t there’s a fun little consolation price of getting a two-night and three-day stay in either Edmonton, Los Angeles, or London.

If you’re interested in partaking in the series though you had better hurry as the contest ends on September 28th and you’ll have to record video or audio and get it to them before that time. Judging of each recording is 40% voice quality, 40% performance, and 20% how the submission fits with the style of ‘Mass Effect’.

You can choose from two scripts to work off of either with the main character Ryder or a mercenary having a conversation with another mercenary. To learn more make sure to click on over to the BioWare Contest Page and get your recording voice ready!
