We have some new casting news for Stephen King’s ‘It‘ and more importantly, we have the first shot of “The Loser’s Club” to share with you today! First off we have learned that Nicholas Hamilton (‘Captain Fantastic’) will be joining the cast as the young version of Henry Bowers. He is reprising the role which was initially held by both Jarred Blancard and Michael Cole in the original mini-series. Sadly, still no word as to who the adult versions of our cast will be quite yet.

So The Loser’s Club itself will consist of Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, and Jeremy Ray Taylor who all have quite a task before them in portraying the unlikely heroes of the story.

The original photo was shared by Finn Wolfhard on Instagram though it no longer appears to be on his page.

The boys not only have to deal with a group of bullies which will include Owen Teague who plays the sociopath Patrick Hocksetter but more importantly have to go up against Bill Skarsgård who will be playing Pennywise. This clown is probably responsible for more nightmares and the heightened fear of clowns from around the globe than anyone else has been to date. Of anyone in the movie, Skarsgård will have the roughest time as he has to go up against the memory we all have of Tim Curry in the role.

What are your thoughts on the first look at “The Loser’s Club”? Do you think we’ve got a cast perfect for the roles? Share your thoughts below!

Pennywise will be haunting theaters when ‘It’ Part 1 is released on September 8th, 2017!
