Anticipation has been growing for the first ‘Star Wars’ anthology film, ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,’ and we now get our first really good look at the film with this trailer!
‘Rogue One’ is set to take place between ‘Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith’ and ‘Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope’ and involves a group of rebels working to steal the plans for the Death Star. (‘Star Wars’ aficionados already know how this movie ultimately ends as it was referenced in the opening crawl of ‘A New Hope’ setting up that film.) Beyond the cinematic universe, ‘Rogue One’ is also said to be occurring concurrent with the Disney XD series ‘Star Wars Rebels’ but no crossover (if there is any) has been talked about so far.
‘Rogue One’ will be the first ‘Star Wars’ film that does not revolve around any Jedi or the Force, but it been reported that Darth Vader will be making an appearance. Take a first look at ‘Rogue One’ below:
