Though most True Believers have been preoccupied with ‘Iron Fist’, ‘Black Panther’, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’, and ‘Captain America: Civil War’ over the past few days, it looks as if we finally have some new information regarding Scott Derrickson’s ‘Doctor Strange‘. While we received the first synopsis and some official casting confirmations just under a week ago, a new featurette has just been released that gives us our first look at some concept art of the Sorcerer Supreme and the thoughts of the people involved in bringing him to life.

Thanks to the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Two Collection’ (which exclusively hits Amazon this week just in time for the holiday season), a new featurette that teases some new details about Dr. Stephen Strange’s  MCU debut has been included with the plethora of previously unreleased bonus material found in the box set. Though no actual footage is included due to the fact that shooting has basically just begun, there are a few glimpses of new concept art along with interviews from director Derrickson and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. You can check out the video below, followed by the official synopsis of the film, courtesy of USA Today:

‘Doctor Strange’ follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.

Unsurprisingly, the filmmakers are incredibly vague with details. Nothing has been specifically shared and the new piece of concept art is pretty buried by artwork from Marvel Comics. But it’s better than nothing for now, right? After all, we still have to get through ‘Civil War’ before we catch up with the good doctor and the Eye of Agamotto. Plus, after May 6th, we’re likely to get an overload of promos for the upcoming Phase Three film. Until then, let us know what you think about this featurette and the new concept art in the comment section.

‘Doctor Strange’ starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen, Rachel McAdams, and Scott Adkins appears in theaters on this plane on November 4, 2016.
