With a full trailer out for ‘Warcraft,’ we’ve not only been given an idea of what the film will look like but also a bit more of the tone and plot than the synopsis had previously given us. The sticking point for many, though, is what is clearly a heavy use of CGI footage from the trailer which has many people worried. The question though is if they actually should be.In a recent interview actress Paula Patton has spoken up on a little of what we can expect from the film when we see it and what she has to say is good news for us all.

“They closed that soundstage door, and it was a real forest. It was true to scale and we had our horses in there and we were jumping out of trees and such. And then you’re going up mountains that have been built by these set designers. So you really enter the universe and that kind of gives you a sort of faith and excitement.”

So yes, CGI is used for many of the larger shots but that isn’t what the majority of the film sounds like it’ll look like when we see it on the big screen.

With other actors having made similar statements in the past as well as being able to actually see some of the weapons and armor being used at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, I think that we’re still going to be in for something good.
