With the release of the Blu-Ray and DVD of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron‘ on the horizon, Disney and Marvel have started releasing pieces of the special features that will be included on the home video version which includes this minute long clip showing off some of the gag reel from the film. From Chris Evans holding back on the quintessential Avengers catch-phrase (which rumor has it Joss Whedon never wants said in the MCU, even though Scarlet Johansson shouted it afterwards), to Mark Ruffalo proving how un-scientific he is in real life, to learning that Erik Selving can be a bit of a perv, to seeing Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) giving acting/blocking tips to fellow actor Scarlet Johansson, there’s a lot of humor in this minute, with most likely plenty more on the Blu-Ray itself.

And while I have heard some fans complain that it is not fair that most of these special features only make it onto the Blu-Ray, and not onto the DVD or the Digital copy, it does make a certain amount of business sense as the industry is moving farther and farther away from DVDs, with even Blu-Rays only having a limited window. I personally hope that they start making special features something you can obtain digitally, whether renting from Itunes or being available on Netflix, but for the moment those special features are among the only thing that keep people buying Blu-Rays.

Either way, make sure to check out all the special features when the Blu-Ray for Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ becomes available on October 2nd!
