TRIBUTES! Its almost time for you to embark on the second and final half of the journey that is ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.’
In anticipation of the release of the film (slated to hit theaters Nov. 25, 2015. Please, pause for the realization that its only four measly months away. FOUR MONTHS, PEOPLE), and the upcoming Comic-Con panel taking place in San Diego this weekend, they decided to throw us a little eye-candy by releasing eight new character posters.
Its speculated as to who will actually be on the last Comic-Con panel the cast of ‘THG’will ever see (tear), but it can be safe to assume the trifecta of awesome [aka: Jennifer Lawrence (Katness), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta), and Liam Hemsworth (Gale)] will be in attendance. The first full length trailer will also be released during the panel, so get ready bask in the glory that is the 2min trailer, once its inevitably leaked online. Sigh.
In the meantime, feast your eyes on ‘The Faces of Rebellion’, AKA: ‘The Breakfast Club of Kicking Your As*”. President Snow, eat your freaking heart out. No really, we want you too…Seriously.
These stills boast feelings of dark days to come and the inevitability of ones own gruesome and untimely demise. Even though the photos are individual, they create a sense of, that although they all have their own personal vendettas to fulfill, they are still united for a greater purpose. Which basically is the whole point of this franchise, so well done art direction peeps for hitting it on the head with this one.
Fans of the books will know that this last part ain’t gonna be no picnic. Its going to be the most gut wrenching, heartbreaking, action packed installment yet. I mean, why go out with a fizzle when you can go out with a BANG.
