Today we’ve got the first looks of the returning cast members for the sixth season of ‘The Walking Dead.’ Well, that is the first shots not from the above banner which was released just in time for SDCC 2015! With ‘Fear the Walking Dead‘ coming up at the end of this summer, AMC doesn’t want us forgetting about the show that started it all. The first three shots from the next season will show Glenn, Maggie, and fan favorite Daryl Dixon all packed and ready for action.
A week ago you may have missed that the first look at Corey Hawkins as Heath when it was released and fans of the comic will most likely have instantly recognized this key member of the Alexandria Community.
However, this week the studio has stepped it up a notch by releasing three shots which you can see right here!
Below is Steven Yeun reprising his role as Glenn who has a weapon drawn and looks quite ready to use it.
Next up is Lauren Cohan as Maggie who is in nearly the same pose with weapon at the ready. You almost have to wonder if these shots are from the same scene.
Our last of the new teaser images for the series shows off fan-favorite Norman Reedus who is back as Daryl Dixon and while he is packing his crossbow in this image, he is clearly more relaxed than the two.
So far it looks as if the last season which ended in the Alexandria community might have just been the calm before the storm. I do have to admit that I like how Daryl who is probably the most proficient killer in our band of survivors is the only one who is shown without a weapon drawn.
