Unfortunately, Marvel Studios has opted to skip San Diego Comic-Con this year. They usually bring their big guns from the big screen to Hall H for some mind-blowing revelations, but the House of Ideas will only be represented by their TV shows such as ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ and ‘Agent Carter’ in the hallowed halls of the Mecca of pop culture next week. However, thanks to Fox, the con won’t be completely devoid of movies featuring Marvel heroes.

On Saturday July 11th, 20th Century Fox will step up to the stage in Hall H for their presentation that is sure to include films like ‘Fantastic Four’ and ‘Deadpool’. Although, their lineup has yet to be revealed on the schedule, director Bryan Singer has confirmed that he’ll be bringing his corner of Fox’s Marvel Universe to the convention. In a post on his Instagram account earlier this week, the filmmaker confirmed that he will be present at the studio’s panel to show off some stuff from ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’:

Additionally, as you can see in the post, Singer will be present at a screening of ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past – Rogue Cut’. For more information on that event (which does not require a Comic-Con badge), check out this graphic:

But moving back to the Hall H panel for a second, I’m willing to bet that Singer won’t be alone when presenting footage, a trailer, or whatever he has to offer from ‘Apocalypse’. Some of his cast will be at the annual convention already since Jennifer Lawrence, Sophie Turner, and Evan Peters will be there promoting ‘The Hunger Games’, ‘Game of Thrones’, and ‘American Horror Story’ respectively. But will Fox and Singer top their 2013 appearance at the con when they brought out nearly the entire cast? We’ll just have to wait and see.

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Ben Hardy, Lana Condor, and Oscar Isaac opens in theaters on May 27, 2016.
