‘Game of Thrones’ star Maisie Williams recently made an appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ and naturally she brought along some footage to tease the impending return of the hit HBO series.

The clip, which features Williams’ character of Arya Stark, follows on from the end of the fourth season in which she set sail for Braavos. It shows Arya trying to enter a temple by presenting the coin given to her by Jaqen H’ghar (way back in the second season) to the priest and saying the phrase “valar morghulis” (“all men must die”). As for the results? See for yourself in the video below!

The video also includes the remainder of Williams’ appearance on the show. During the interview, Williams also explains to Kimmel that she’s made a point of not reading George R. R. Martin’s novels, though she “knows roughly what happens.”  When pressed on that point, Williams elaborates, saying that part of the reason for this is due to the way the show, in her words “abbreviates the books,” thus making sure that she doesn’t get excited for something that the show ends up cutting. Indeed, this may have been a very wise decision on her part, as at least one of her co-stars has learned the hard way.

She also shares her excitement at having been fitted for not one but two new costumes this season (one of which was featured on a recent ‘Entertainment Weekly’ cover) after having worn more or less the same costume from very early in the first season.

As we’ve previously reported, the upcoming season of ‘Game of Thrones’ will include some significant narrative departures from the novels, including the death of at least one major character who has so far survived the books..

The fifth season of ‘Game of Thrones’ is coming to HBO on April 12th.
