True Believers may be a bit disheartened to know that the first season of ‘Agent Carter’ is over. Hopefully we’ll get word of a second season shortly, but while we anxiously await the news of renewal, we won’t have to go too long until our next taste of the Marvel Cinematic Universe because ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘ returns to it’s normal slot this week. And in preparation for the mid-season premiere titled ‘Aftershocks’, a new clip has been released.

When we last saw Director Coulson and his team, it had undergone some massive changes. Though the mystery of the Obelisk had been solved (sorta), the dwindling peacekeeping organization was down one member and another had gained a whole new set of skills out of nowhere. Surely they will all deal with these changes, but as the saying goes, the show must go on. For Coulson and May, that means dealing with their HYDRA prisoner Mr. Bakshi by passing him off to General Glenn Talbot. However, as you can see from the video below, things don’t go as smoothly as planned:

The position of S.H.I.E.L.D. Director does not have the best of luck when it comes to driving. Remember what happened to Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury in ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’? Well, the trend continues on this week’s episode of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’. Luckily, Coulson and May are resilient people. I’m just curious to know how they get out of this one.

Are you excited for the return of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ after a short winter break? What are you expecting from the mid-season premiere? And what do you think is going on with Skye/Daisy Johnson/Quake? Share your thoughts and theories in the comments below.

‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ starring Brett Dalton, Ming-Na Wen, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Adrianne Palicki, Chloe Bennet, and Clark Gregg returns to ABC on March 3, 2015.
