While we haven’t been seeing much in the way of behind the scenes shots from ‘Ant-Man,’ that all changed with a shot of a hat bearing a Pym Technologies logo. It would appear that the full shot features an actor who is dressed in full uniform as a Pym Technologies security guard but it has been photoshopped to only display the Pym Technologies hat that he’ll be wearing. While it won’t give us a fulll look at their uniform, I suspect that the security guards will be one of the less interesting parts of the movie. Still, the logo gives us a company name that makes me wonder how corporate espionage will truly end up factoring into the story.

So here it is ladies and gentlemen, the hat that will bear the logo of the company that Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym creates in the cinematic universe!

In the comic universe we tend to just get the name Pym Particles but with Corey Stoll‘s Darren Cross rumored to take over the company in the movie, it should be no surprise that there is a change. At this time there is no word if we’ll see him running Cross Technological Enterprises and buying the company out or doing some kind of a corporate takeover from the inside. What we do know is that he is rumored to use Pym’s particles and other technology to become the super villain Yellowjacket.

Regarding his role in the film, Cross has stated he sees a similarity between his character and Hank Pym (played by Michael Douglas):

“He is not a villain in the vein of Thanos or Loki, who are villains that know it. [Cross] is a guy who is not that dissimilar from Michael Douglas’ character, Hank Pym. A brilliant scientist, who is not ethically pure. I think a great thing about the whole movie is that everybody in this movie is in those shades of gray a little bit. I think it will be a fun character to create.”

‘Ant-Man’ starring Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd hits theaters on July 17, 2015.
