X-Men Days of Future Past new banner

With so many mutants appearing in Bryan Singer’s ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, it never hurts to get a refresher course on who everybody is. Recently, the studio has been releasing a series of videos to get us acquainted or reacquainted with some of these characters that we’ll be seeing in Fox’s upcoming Marvel movie. Previously, we saw these featurettes for Mystique and Quicksilver and now we get to know three more super-powered people making the jump from the pages of Marvel Comics to the big screen.

The latest videos released under the ‘Power Piece’ banner feature two returning cast members from ‘X-Men: First Class’ and one brand new addition to the X-Men family making her debut in it’s time-traveling sequel. These clips feature some new footage and highlight the powers of these mutants, all while teasing the idea that the future can change. So without further ado, check out the videos spotlighting Magneto, Beast, and Blink:

Fans are likely very familiar with Magneto and Beast at this point considering that they’ve both appeared in previous ‘X-Men’ movies, but Blink could be a mystery even to those of us who regularly follow the comics. After watching that video, we don’t know that much more about her besides her powers because she might have gotten one line in that whole clip. But with a the ability of teleportation, she could be a real asset to the team, so hopefully we get to see more of her in action when the film premieres later this month.

What do you think of the latest featurettes for ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ that spotlight Magneto, Beast, and Blink? Who else do you hope gets to star in their very own “Power Piece” before the film debuts to the general public? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ starring Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, and Evan Peters is set to hit theaters on May 23, 2014.
