In the recent Marvel special, “Assembling a Universe” the studio showed off quite a bit on how the film’s have come to where they are today. Of course, Marvel isn’t known for not giving teasers and they shared concept art from upcoming films such as ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, ‘Ant-Man’ and most importantly three shots from ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’. What’s even more impressive is two of the three images featured show the expected looks of The Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver. Yes the two mutants, ahem, wait they aren’t mutants in the Marvel Cinemantic Universe. The two gifted youngersters with genetic aberrations that give them amazing powers now have a potential look that we’ll see on the big screen attached to them! Let’s take a look at what you missed if you didn’t see the “Assembling a Universe” special below!

With ‘Guardians of the Galaxy‘ having an August 1st, 2014 release date, it is just far enough to warrant some more teaser art and just close enough to make it that much harder to wait after the amazing trailer that was recently released. The concept art for this one include Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon with a head shot of Groot to boot!

Next up we have four shots from Edger Wright’s ‘Antman’ which has a July 17, 2015 release. These shots will be familiar for anyone who has seen the concept film that he showed at Comic Con (and was available online for a bit) and showed how exactly he wanted his hero to be fighting.

Finally the moment you’ve been waiting for, the three concept images from ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. First up we have a great shot of what looks to be The Hulk and Black Widow back to back as a building topples behind them. It rather reminds me of the scene from the first Avengers film where the entire cast was back to back in preparation for fighting off the alien invasion.

Let’s be honest though you probably want to primarily check out the images of what Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s (‘Kick-Ass’,’Nowhere Boy’) Quicksilver and Elizabeth Olsen’s (‘Silent House’, ‘Martha Marcy May Marlene’) The Scarlet Witch are most likely going to be looking like. So here they are:

That Quicksilver one seems much in line with the modern take they’ve been using for Captain America and Hawkeye. It looks like we won’t be seeing much of a throw back to the original Scarlet Witch costume but let’s be honest, that probably works for the best. At the very least it won’t be remotelly like what Quicksilver’s early shots from ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ look to be and that is something I believe we can all get behind.

What do you think of the costumes for the pair? Do they have a look that you could get along with or are they too far from the original for you?
