On the weekend of April 4th, Scarlett Johansson is slated to take on enemies at the side of fellow Avenger Steve Rogers in ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, but she is also looking to target the males of the human race in ‘Under The Skin‘. In Jonathan Glazer’s first film in over a decade, the Black Widow actress stars as an alien disguised as a sultry woman named Laura who roams the Scottish countryside using her sexuality to study and send home specimens to her home world. While a very creepy trailer for the film that has long been in limbo has dropped last month, we didn’t really get a good idea about what to expect from the movie after watching it. But now, we have a brand new clip to see the sexy siren in action.
Earlier this week, a minute long clip was released that finds Johansson on the prowl as she flirts with an unsuspecting guy before presumably taking him back to a flat. You can check out the video below, followed by the synopsis of the story:
‘Under the Skin’ is based on the novel by Michel Faber and features Johansson as an alien on earth, disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman. She scours remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snare human prey — her voracious sexuality. She is deadly efficient, but over time becomes drawn to and changed by the complexity of life on earth. With this new found humanity and weakening alien resolve, she finds herself on a collision course with her own kind. Taking her point of view throughout, the film presents a unique look at our world through alien eyes.
