With it’s February 12, 2014 release right around the corner, the marketing has once again ramped up on ‘RoboCop‘. Today we have a new Japanese International poster for the film as well as a shot of RoboCop walking down a hall. Not very exciting. What is exciting, though, is we also have a new featurette with some entertaining new footage of OmniCorp which you really can never get enough of. What else can you do but love the company that created ED-209 to keep the streets safe? Oh, and that RoboCop guy.

Now what you probably want to watch is the latest featurette from the film itself! New footage from the film gives us the human side of OmniCorp. Sure the company might create drones and cyborgs but down at its core – OmniCorp is for the people!

Synopsis:

In ‘RoboCop’, the year is 2029 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.

So how do you feel about OmniCorp’s ‘humanity’ after the latest featurette for the film? Does it have you stoked to support that company that turns Alex Murphy from man to machine?

‘Robocop’ stars Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldmann, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Jay Baruchel, Abbie Cornish and Jackie Earle Haley and will be in theaters on February 7th, 2014.
