While it may seem like winter is already here around the country, winter is still coming as production continues on the next season of ‘Game of Thrones‘. HBO’s acclaimed fantasy drama based on George R.R. Martin’s ‘A Song of Fire & Ice’ novels is currently shooting their fourth season and while we have seen a few behind the scenes looks and heard some juicy information to tease us, fans of the happenings in Westeros are clamoring for more. Well, ask and you shall receive.
Over the weekend, the network started to air a promo that recapped 2013 and showed off some new footage from their shows returning next year. Naturally, you can’t promote the cable channel’s awesome lineup without showing some love to ‘Game of Thrones’, so there definitely had to be a little something in there from one of the most popular shows on television today. And when I say “little”, I mean little. Check out the first official footage from the fourth season below:
Did you catch that? Do you want to watch it again? Go ahead. You have time, I promise.
Yes, that six seconds was all that we get for now, but in that extremely brief teaser, we got to see some of the major players in the series such as King Joffrey, Jamie Lannister, Sansa Stark, and the fan favorite former Hand of the King Tyrion Lannister, who appeared to be in shackles of some kind. What could this mean for the Half Man? We’ll have to wait a few more months to find out.
