With all of the talk of ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ popping up in the media and possibly bringing Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Harrison Ford, back to their original roles it’s time to fondly remember the original film they all starred in. Or better yet, bloopers from the original film!
What we have here is 2 minutes and 36 seconds of great mistakes – mainly at the hands of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Peter Cushing though you’ll see a few others who make mistakes as well. A head’s up though as you won’t be hearing anything for about 48 seconds in and there’s another mini-silent portion farther into the video.
As entertaining as everyone else was, all I could really do was laugh at the storm troopers bumbling through the door. With the other trilogy being canon these days, my assumption was that this was the last of a bad batch of clones or some really new recruits from some random world like Tatooine whose clearly full of people who can’t cut it past being farmers or smugglers who that can’t make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs.
So while we still have a bit of time before ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ hits the big screen, let alone finish sorting through casting rumors, we can still get a few laughs out of the originals. What I hope is that we’ll see a few more blooper reels released from the other two films from the original trilogy.
