After a super brief teaser for the trailer of ‘X-Men Days Of Future Past‘ it’s time for the marketing for the film to kick on. Thankfully that means today we’ve got 12 new screen grabs to enjoy! We’ve been given a slew of promotional shots as well as two behind the scene captures as well!
First up we have a shot of Magneto and Professor X from the future where the two have finally joined sides to save mutant-kind from extinction. The second picture has a young Magneto who is apparently taking his helmet back from wherever it was being stored. The third shot is in the past showing Hugh Jackman (‘The Wolverine‘) reprising his role as Logan with a young Magneto and Professor X all looking rather serious. Forth up is a shot of Peter Dinklage (‘Game of Thrones’) as Dr. Bolivar Trask who I suspect will be one of the stand out castings on the show. The fifth shot up is a picture of Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique. A shot of Singer walking Patrick Stewart (‘Star Trek: The Next Generation’) through a scene. A shot of Kitty and Iceman from the future. Another shot of Lawrence as Mystique. Wolverine looking much worse for wear (hello healing bullet holes!), a young Magneto and Xavier playing chess.
Lots of great shots here and none of them are spoilers on what is to come (unless you count Wolverine recovering from being shot but that’s pretty par for the course if you ask me.)
What are you thinking about this crossover between the old and new X-Men? It’s a classic time travel experience from the comics but do you think it can translate well to the big screen?
