Unlike how it’s team members try to roll, the premiere of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ didn’t go unnoticed by the general populace. Which is good because if the numbers continue that means we’re going to be able to watch them help save the Marvel Universe for years to come. The television event that Marvel fans have been clamoring for since it first was announced has now happened. AGENT COULSON LIVES AGAIN! We don’t really know how or why (supposedly he never really died but I’m pretty sure that none of us actually buy that) but we’re supposed to get some answers by the end of the first season.

So how did the initial showing of ABC’s new Tuesday Night hit stack up?

Well it would appear that 11.9 million viewers tuned in to watch Clark Gregg (‘The Avengers’) reprise his role of Agent Coulson back from the dead to put together a covert team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

If this kind of a turnout continues we’ll be seeing Coulson’s crew taking out the bad guys for quite some time to come. Speaking of tuning back in what did the viewers think about the show? Well a few names you might recognize had some input.

So what did you think about ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s premiere? Did you enjoy it as much as everyone above as well as ourselves did? Are you looking forward to the second episode? Any ideas on what it is the Coulson is never allowed to know? Sound off with your thoughts below!

“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.
