All summer, we’ve been hearing about Chloe Grace Moretz putting the mask back on and revisiting her Hit-Girl persona in ‘Kick-Ass 2’. Now that the fall is upon us, Halloween is around the corner and scary movies are the talk of the town. Luckily, the young actress has one of those on the horizon as well as she stars as the title character of the remake of the classic horror film, ‘Carrie’.

Moretz joins award-winning actress Julianne Moore as they appear in a new version of Stephen King’s tale about a bullied young woman who discovers that she has telekinetic powers. Originally made famous by Brian De Palma’s 1976 adaptation, Kimberly Peirce is setting out to put her own spin on the story for a whole new generation.

Before the film hits theaters next month, Sony Pictures has released a new featurette that takes a look behind the scenes of the reboot, as well as some new images from the movie as well. You can see all of that below:

If you’re looking to learn more about the upcoming film, here’s the official synopsis:

A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White, a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother, who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.
