After showing off a new extended red-band trailer at this year’s Comic-Con, ‘Kick-Ass 2’ comes out swinging in the promo arena once more with more new footage. Well, it’s kinda new footage. You’ll see what I mean.
In the latest clip from Jeff Wadlow’s upcoming film that was premiered on MTV, we see an extended version of a scene that we’ve seen cut up in various forms in multiple teasers, trailers, and TV spots already. Using a familiar crime-fighting duo to measure themselves up to, Dave & Mindy discuss the possibility of teaming like a certain bat and bird. You can check out the scene in the video below:
First of all, I have to say this: Robin is badass. Dick Grayson/Nightwing aside, the other people who’ve taken up the mantle can definitely hold their own. I mean, maybe Hit-Girl is behind on Damian Wayne, but she and him had a lot in common. If she had been aware of the latest Robin, I doubt that she would feel the way she does about the Boy Wonder.
