With all the book releases, exclusive movie trailers, and priceless series schwag, it may not seem it at first glance, but cosplaying is a very special part of Comic-Con. People spend months working on a costume that can be packed in a suitcase or shipped to San Diego just for the chance to become one of their favorite characters for a day.
Not that it was surprising after all that hard work, but each of these people couldn’t have been more cheerful and energetic to have their picture taken, when they must have be hounded all day by the fandom-loving Comic-Con paparazzi. When you’ve poured your heart and your wallet into something you love, it’s no wonder that everyone remains all smiles at the end of a long day of being showered with praise. And don’t these folks deserve it!
