While most of you recognize the name Dark Horse for the incredible amount of comic book titles they publish every week as one of the largest publishers in the comic industry, what many of you may have missed is that Dark Horse has their very own in house collectibles division! This division, dubbed ‘Dark Horse Deluxe’, produces a vast quantity of awesome collectible products based on some of your favorite properties like ‘Game Of Thrones’ and ‘Halo’!
This past week at New York Toy Fair 2016, Dark Horse Deluxe was on hand to showcase some of the latest offerings coming our way for some of their top lines!
Game Of Thrones
For the last few years, Dark Horse has been producing some amazingly high quality figures based on HBO’s popular ‘Game Of Thrones’ live action fantasy series! These figures, which honestly look more like statues, are made of a lighter plastic that gives them a sturdier durability that many statues lack. Essentially, it looks like a statue, has all of the quality of a high end collectors statue, but feels like an action figure when it’s in your hands. Overall, they’ve been a pretty consistently great line! This year at Toy Fair, Dark Horse premiered the latest figure in the line, which is ‘The Nights King’! This figure is due out this April!

The Witcher
Dark Horse Deluxe recently announced that they would be producing a line of products based on popular ‘The Witcher’ video game series! This fantasy series follows the story of Geralt, who is himself a monster hunter with a unique set of supernatural powers. Dark Horse has planned a line of collectibles based around the games lead characters with a series of figures similar to their ‘Game Of Thrones’ line. So far characters announced as part of this figure line include Geralt, Eredin, Ciri, Triss, and Yennefer. Additionally, Dark Horse is going to be releasing the games ‘Wolf Head’ logo in various formats like a sculpted wall mount, a pin, and a magnet!

Halo
Another franchise that Dark Horse Deluxe has been working on extensively over the last few years is Microsoft’s ‘Halo’ video game series! Dark Horse Deluxe has been releasing an amazing series of scaled ship and vehicle replicas based on the game’s designs. This year at Toy Fair, Dark Horse showcased quite a few of their pieces from this collection, while also premiering a few brand new pieces!
Premiering at New York Toy Fair 2016 were three new pieces for the ‘Halo’ ship replica series. Fans can look forward to all new replica’s of the Covenant Banshee, The UNSC Prowler, and the Forerunner Phaeton!
