Joss Whedon’s highly anticipated return to television with Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ has been the talk of the town since ABC gave it the green light. Now, the show is preparing to take San Diego Comic-Con by storm this Friday when attendees will be treated to a panel all about the Marvel Studios’ first live-action show set in their cinematic universe. But before anyone takes the stage in Ballroom 20, a few new featurettes have been released to introduce us to some of the members of Agent Phil Coulson’s new team.
In the first video, we take a look at the team’s biochem and gadget experts, Agents Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons. Played by Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge respectively, this video shows the quirky nature and the brother-sister relationship between the duo:
Next up is Agent Grant Ward, the black ops specialist who is all business and not much else. Brought to life by Brett Dalton, this S.H.I.E.L.D. agent isn’t exactly a people person to the degree that he can’t even take a joke from Coulson. For shame. Anyway, you can meet him in the video below:
When the show premieres this fall, Ward, Fitz, and Simmons will be joined by pilot and martial artist Melinda May and the computer hacking new recruit Skye, all under the command of the returning Clark Gregg as he reprises his beloved character from the Marvel films like ‘The Avengers’.
