For the past few days, the ‘Man of Steel’ website has been filled with static but now, a message from space has landed and it comes from none other than General Zod himself!
Zod has given a warning to the citizens of Earth to return Kal-El into his custody and, to the citizen of Krypton himself, a threat that if he doesn’t surrender in the next 24 hours, the world will “suffer the consequences.”
While the message is not a friendly one, the viral video holds a lot of excitement for fans who are waiting to see ‘Man of Steel’! This is the first time we get to hear Michael Shannon s Zod and he sounds as intimidating as you would expect from the Kryptonian villain.
In addition to the viral marketing promotion, Warner Bros. has also set up these billboards that have been seen in the Los Angeles area:
As you can see, one is a distressed image of the Superman emblem and the second is a series of Kryptonian symbols that were used on the Deep Space Radio Wave Project site. If you take the Kryptonian numbers and use the decipher code on the site, it comes out as an IP address (168.161.242.137) that leads to another website called IWIllFindHim.com which seems to be a Kryptonian countdown of sorts. We’ll be keeping an eye on this site to see what this is clock is a countdown for.
Hopefully it will be another viral video with a response to the General’s demands or it could be for the newest trailer that is rumored to be released soon. Regardless, check back here as we’ll be letting you know as soon as we find out!
