This may not be the ‘Star Wars’ news that everyone is rushing to find out more about right now with Disney’s purchase of Lucasfilm still fresh in everyone’s heads, but I’m here to remind you that this is still a thing. Earlier this month, it was revealed that the house that George Lucas built would be teaming up with the popular mobile game ‘Angry Birds’ to create a new version of the game called ‘Angry Birds Star Wars’, along with toys and apparel based on the game. Now, we get our first look at a few of the characters that will be featured in the game.

I’m sure the Red Bird is pretty stoked that it finally has a power because, as everyone who’s played the game knows, that particular disgruntled avian creature is practically useless. Now it’s armed with a lightsaber and can dish out some serious damage.
If you’re really excited to finally get your hands on ‘Angry Birds Star Wars’ on your mobile devices, the wait is not much longer as the game will be released on November 8th.
