The next Baltimore Comic Con interview that I’ll be sharing with you is with Mark Waid, the maestro behind the current critically acclaimed arc in ‘Daredevil’ and the upcoming Marvel NOW series ‘The Indestructible Hulk’.

During our chat, the Harvey Award-winning writer spoke at length about what’s coming next for Matt Murdock, why the Hulk is now “indestructible”, and how writers can enter into the comic book industry.

When we ventured into the Marvel NOW portion of the discussion, Mark told me how his Hulk is similar to Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk and why it is exactly Hulk is wearing armor in the promotional images for the upcoming event. Initially, I was with the camp of people that were very confused by this addition to Hulk’s wardrobe, but after talking about it with the creator who made it happen, it all made sense: “Hulk doesn’t need armor, but Banner does.”

The next in line for the gamma-radiated writer’s seat revealed that the armor expands as Banner grows, so now Bruce no longer ends up naked after he transforms back to normal from the Jolly Green Giant. I’m sure Banner is thanking Mark Waid for this new development.
