“Little ditty about Jack and Diane… two American kids” …well, okay, one is British…okay… one is not exactly a kid. The tumultuous romance between two adolescent teens interspersed with some bloody werewolf horror finally has a trailer which was released today courtesy of Magnolia Pictures.

The trailer for ‘Jack and Diane’ does a great job showcasing the tender romance of the two girls who are just realizing their feelings for each other. In between these scenes are flashes of what looks like some animation of changes that are occurring in Diane’s body. Oh, did I mention that Diane also happens to be a werewolf?

The rated R indie film gained mixed results at film festivals where it played but the lesbian werewolf romance story coupled with the animation from the Brothers Quay seems enough of a haunting mystique to warrant a look see.

Directed by Bradley Rust Gray, ‘Jack and Diane’ stars Juno Temple (‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ ‘The Three Musketeers,’ ‘Maleficent’) and Riley Keough (‘Magic Mike,’ ‘Mad Max: Road Fury’) as the teen girls with songstress Kylie Minogue (‘Doctor Who,’ ‘Moulin Rouge’), Dane DeHaan (‘Chronicle,’ ‘True Blood’), Michael Chernus (‘Men in Black 3’), and Lou Taylor Pucci (‘Fanboys,’ ‘The Evil Dead’) completing the cast.
