Yesterday we were treated by a very short (but hunk worthy) first look clip of Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen. Now the CW has released a full trailer and the series looks very promising!

The trailer is voiced over with Oliver Queen’s story and shows footage of the shipwreck, his time on the island and the reason he’s driven to become the green vigilante in Starling City. What impressed me the most was that the trailer does a very good job in showing that this series could very well be the one that can successfully take the place of ‘Smallville.’

With the pedigree of a team having Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim (the team who wrote ‘Green Lantern’ and episodes of ‘No Ordinary Family’) co-produce and co-write the script with Andrew Kriesberg (‘Fringe,’ ‘Warehouse 13,’ ‘The Vampire Diaries’) and the pilot episode directed by David Nutter (‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Smallville,’ ‘Supernatural,’ ‘Roswell’), CW has high hopes for this freshman series and from the looks of it, so do I!
