Just a few days ago, the world was given the chance to watch the first episode of the brand new Disney XD program ‘Tron: Uprising’ online, but in case you avoided it to watch it when it first airs on TV tomorrow, here’s a new featurette to hold you over, Tron fans!
Featuring a ton of great cast commentary from stars Elijah Wood, who plays our hero Beck, Mandy Moore, Paul Reubens, and more, this featurette courtesy of Collider also includes some new footage from the show, some concept art, and scenes from the press junket/premier party for the show.
Besides Wood, Moore, and Reubens, ‘Tron: Uprising’ also stars Emmanuelle Chriqui, Nate Corddry, Lance Henriksen, Reginald VelJohnson, Tricia Helfer, and, of course, Bruce Boxleitner as Tron. The pilot, titled ‘Beck’s Beginning’, airs today, May 18th at 9:30pm on Disney Channel, with an uninterrupted encore on Disney XD on Monday, May 21st at 7:00pm.

“Beck is a young mechanic living in Argon City, a growing metropolis in a far off corner of the grid that has just been occupied by General Tesler, a henchman of the notorious Clu. After his best friend Bodhi is ruthlessly derezzed by Clu’s army, Beck seeks justice for his lost friend and launches a crusade against the regime. His rebellion captures the attention of Tron, the greatest warrior The Grid has ever known, who sees the potential in Beck and trains him to be his successor. Labeled with the moniker of The Renegade, Beck sparks a revolution to fight for the freedom of The Grid.”
