Although some may question the sanity of filming another sequel to ‘Men in Black,’ no one can disagree the genius of bringing back Rick Baker. Award winning special make up effects artist Baker won an Oscar for his work on the first ‘Men in Black’ movie and has returned in what may be the final installment of the film’s franchise.

Baker is known worldwide for his work in the sci-fi/horror/fantasy genre working on films like ‘The Ring’, ‘The Wolfman’, ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’, and ‘Hellboy’ to name a few. He’s also responsible for Ron Perlman’s look in the 1980’s CBS series ‘Beauty and the Beast.’

While part of the laughs is seeing which celebrity or politician is secretly an alien (rumor has it Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and Tim Burton are outted this flick), most of the appeal of the ‘Men in Black’ movies is the actual aliens themselves. Baker took his inspiration from sci-fi films of the 50’s and 60’s so that the aliens would have that retro look about them when Agent J (Will Smith) goes back in time to save Agent K (James Brolin/ Tommy Lee Jones).

With the movie coming out later this month, we thought you’d get a kick seeing some of Baker’s creations that will be featured in ‘Men in Black 3.’ These are only a few of the photos but if you’d like to see more, check out the entire gallery over at Stark Industries.

‘Men in Black’ opens in theaters on May 25 and stars Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Emma Thompson, and Alice Eve.
