That’s right, True Believers. You did not read that headline wrong. Characters from the upcoming Disney/Marvel collaboration ‘Big Hero 6’ will be appearing in both Disneyland and Disney World. After being introduced to Hiro Hamada and his lovable robot Baymax in recent trailers and TV spots, fans will be able to meet and greet the pair in the near future.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, Hiro and Baymax can be seen in Disney theme parks on both coasts starting this fall. No details about when exactly and where they will be setting up shop, but the Mouse House promises more details soon. This marks the first time that Marvel characters will appear at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida due to an agreement with Universal Studios that says that no Marvel characters appearing at Islands of Adventure will been seen at any East Coast Disney parks. So, since the members of ‘Big Hero 6’ are more obscure and haven’t debuted at the Disney competitor, that makes them fair game to make the trip from San Fransokyo to Orlando.

Based on the looks we’ve gotten of the movie so far, I’m predicting that ‘Big Hero 6’ will be a hit among fans young and old. I mean, you cannot honestly tell me that you wouldn’t hug Baymax, can you? I know that I might have to start looking into a trip to Disney soon just to get a hug from that lovable healthcare companion/crime fighter.
