Harley Quinn Cuts Loose In An NSFW New Trailer
DC Universe

Disney+ launched this week with much fanfare (and a few technical hiccups) and folks are anticipating it will be a major contender with Netflix and the rest of the dominating streaming services, even with its family-friendly standards.  But f*** them!  DC Universe has released a new family-unfriendly trailer for the new ‘Harley Quinn’ animated series and you won’t see anything like this on Disney+, for a multitude of reasons.

‘The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco voices the Clown Princess of Crime.  Lake Bell co-stars as Poison Ivy, along with J. B. Smoove as Frank the Plant, Alan Tudyk as The Joker and Clayface, and Diedrich Bader as Batman.  Check out the newest clip below:

This trailer offers the best idea of what the concept of this show is– after being subbed by The Joker, Harley decides to form her own gang, made up of Clayface, Dr. Psycho (Tony Hale), and King Shark (Ron Funches), and possibly parlay that into a position in the Legion of Doom, fronted by Lex Luthor (Giancarlo Esposito).

The ‘Harley Quinn’ series was created by writers and executive producers Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Dean Lorey.  The cast also includes Jason Alexander as Sy Borgman, Tom Kenny as Clayface’s Hand, Rahul Kohli as The Scarecrow, Sanaa Lathan as Catwoman, Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman, Christopher Meloni as Commissioner James Gordon, Jim Rash as The Riddler, Wanda Sykes as The Queen of Fables, and Jacob Tremblay as Robin (Damian Wayne).

‘Harley Quinn’ was announced last year before DC Universe launched, but it is just now reaching viewers.  Despite some doubt over the fate of the DC Universe streaming service, the recent renewal of ‘Titans’ indicates that WarnerMedia is sticking with this niche outlet for some of its DC-inspired adaptations.

Here’s something to be thankful for: ‘Harley Quinn’ will arrive on DC Universe on Black Friday, November 29th, the day after Thanksgiving.  Will you be tuning in?
