The first official promotional poster for Disney+’s ‘WandaVision‘ is out and there is a lot hidden in plain sight. First off, we see both Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany’s Vision appearing to be living as a perfect family in what could easily be thought of as the 1960s.

Once you dig a little further into the picture, though, is when things start to get a bit unsettling. First, let’s take a look at the poster so you can see what we mean:

As we know, Vision was killed off in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and the Soul Stone was destroyed by Thanos in ‘Avengers: Endgame.’ However, we see Visio sitting here and if you look at his shadow, it would appear that the stone is back as well. Not only that, but Wanda’s shadow appears to have her in a comic book accurate headpiece for her costume.

That alone shows that things aren’t quite what they seem and when you throw in the red glow from the television that this loving couple appears to be enjoying and there is another major hint that things are off.

While this first image might look to be taking place in the 1960’s we also know that the series will introduce us to a grown-up version of Monica Rambeau from ‘Captain Marvel’ as well as a return of Kat Dennings’s Darcy Lewis from the first ‘Thor’ movies and Randall Park who played FBI Agent Jimmy Woo from ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’.

The Disney+ shows are set to tie directly into the upcoming films and with Wanda next expected to appear as the co-star of ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,’ it feels like this series might directly lead into the film. That full title of the ‘Doctor Strange’ sequel makes me wonder if we’ll see this Vision brought to our Earth from another world in the Multiverse, if Wanda is actually losing her mind, or both!
