Scream: Resurrection

Fans of the ‘Scream’ television series will be thrilled that a trailer for the third season, ‘Scream: Resurrection’, has been released. After being off the air since 2016, the horror series is also moving networks from MTV to VH1 for the next outing and the 6-episode season will be released over two nights next month. Specifically, things are kicking off on Monday, July 8th, 2019!

That week, Monday through Wednesday at 9pm, there will be 2-hours each night full of the fun-filled terrors that the “Scream” franchise has been delivering for years. To mix things up, not only is the network different, but the cast and location are as well.

Things might be a bit different from what fans of the television series have been used to in another way as well with the original “Ghostface” mask from the movies being used and Roger Jackson once again voicing the killer.

This season will take place in Atlanta, and will follow a local football star named Deion Elliot. The past has come back to not only haunt him but might just kill his future and the friends he has made here.

Mary J. Blige, RJ Cyler, Keke Palmer, Tyler Posey, C.J. Wallace, Tyga, and Giullian Yao Gioiello are all cast members with Paris Jackson having a cameo as well. Queen Latifah is serving as the executive producer of the series while Brett Matthews (‘Legacies,’ ‘Vampire Diaries,’ ‘Supernatural’) is acting as the Showrunner.
