Jessica Jones

Netflix may have crushed Marvel fan’s hearts like Thanos snapping his fingers by canceling each of their incredible shows, but we will have one last outing with ‘Jessica Jones’ and now the streaming giant has revealed when that will be! The tagline is “Sometimes not even ‘heroes’ can save themselves,” and Netflix has shown that not even fans can save their favorite shows. But, we can save the date for when we can finally watch the final season of the series!

Unfortunately, with strict contracts in place we won’t even be able to see the cast brought back on Disney+ in a timely manner making any chance of ‘Jessica Jones’, ‘Daredevil’, ‘Luke Cage’, ‘Iron Fist’, or ‘The Punisher’ continue in their current iterations nearly impossible.

Thanks, Netflix.

Here is the brief teaser they have given us to show off the last Marvel show that will grace Netflix’s streaming platform:

I’m not going to lie, I do love that we once again got to see the front door of Alias Investigations and that it was intact and not destroyed. However, the montage of shots from the upcoming season was displayed so quick that it was hard to make sense of what they were trying to hint at for the final story. Someone is knocking at Jessica’s door, we see her going through more trauma, someone is shown highlighted in red, and it would appear that whoever knocks also runs down the hall to avoid actually talking to Jones. With how easy it is to cast misdirection in a quick trailer cut like this, whoever is knocking might not at all be related to the character running off.

Are you excited for the final season of ‘Jessica Jones’? Do you think that they were able to shoehorn any of Netflix’s other Marvel heroes into the series to get a final send-off? Share your thoughts in the comments below, True Believers!
