Linda Hamilton in 'Terminator: Dark Fate'

Tomorrow marks the first trailer for ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ which fans of the franchise are all hoping will revitalize instead of hammering another nail into the coffin. Before that happens, the studio was gracious enough also to share the first official poster for the film, which includes the tagline “Welcome To The Day After Judgement Day.” As we’ve already been told, this sequel is meant to take place in a world where ‘Terminator 2: Judgement Day’ was the last of the films and either from time travel or because this is all just a movie the events in the other “Terminator” movies never happened.

The original Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger first teased yesterday that the new trailer would be dropping tomorrow with this 10-second shot that shows the logo and time which we can expect to check it out!

While some might think that ignoring the rest of the films is an easy way to do a soft reboot on the franchise, you just can’t help but get a little excited with the return of James Cameron to the production team with Tim Miller directing and Linda Hamilton back as Sarah Connor as well as Schwarzenegger as the original T-800.

It is unclear if this will be a hard stop to the franchise or if they are using the newer cast members of Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta to usher in new features down the line.

Either way, fans of Hamilton are going to be thrilled at the new poster which features Sarah Connor in all her glory that you can check out right here:

Spectacular!
